DKY Potluck Luncheon and Annual Meeting
December 14, 12:00 noon luncheon, 1:30 PM program
Greenwood Community Center, Hwy 1, Elk.
This meeting is also our Chapter Board Election, so be
sure to show up and vote. Gift books on native plants will be on
sale at reasonable prices. We may have some used books, too.

Introduction to Mushroom Identification
workshops
Saturdays, November 22nd, 29th, and December 20th, 10-1 PM
Fort Bragg: Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden, Meeting Room
With MCBG staff naturalist, Mario Abreu. Each
workshop will be followed by a mushroom walk through
the Gardens lead by Kristina van Wert.

Mysteries of Mushrooms for Kids
Sat., Jan. 3rd, 10 AM - noon
Fort Bragg: Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden will hold a mushroom workshop
for ten to twelve-year-olds with a walk led by Mario Abreu and a lab with
Linda Foote. The workshop costs $5, supplies included;
a parent will also receive free admission. Class limited
